Recipe for making Thandai everyday

Material Required

  • Milk – 1 liter cold
  • Almonds - (15-20 soaked)
  • Cashews - (15-20 soaked)
  • Chironji - 1 tablespoon
  • Magaj - half bowl (soaked)
  • Poppy seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Fennel - 1 tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper - 10-12
  • Rose petals - 2 tablespoons (dried)
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped dry fruits (for garnish)

Method of making

  • For this, first of all you have to soak all the dry fruits in water for about 1-2 hours.
  • Now take out all these things from the water and add rose petals and sugar to them.
  • Then grind it well in a mixer jar or on a mortar and pestle to make a paste.
  • Take out the prepared paste in a bowl.
  • After this, add two spoons of this paste in a large vessel.
  • Add cold milk and cardamom powder on top and mix well.
  • Keep it in the fridge to cool for a while.
  • Now pour the Thandai in a glass and garnish it with rose petals and dry fruits and serve.

Recipe for making Paan Thandai

Material

  • Milk – 1 liter
  • Small cardamom - 2-4
  • Fennel - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 8-10
  • Cashew-
  • Almond-
  • Pistachio-
  • Magaj- 1 bowl -(soaked watermelon seeds)
  • Poppy seeds-
  • Saffron-
  • Betel leaves - 3-4 (fresh)
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped dry fruits (for garnish)

Method of preparation

  • First of all, soak almonds, almonds, poppy seeds, black pepper and all the dry fruits in water for 3-4 hours.
  • After this, drain the water, add sugar, betel leaves , and fennel and grind it well.
  • Soak saffron in milk in a bowl and keep it aside.
  • After all the ingredients are ground thoroughly, take them out in a big jar.
  • Now put this paste and dissolved saffron as per your requirement in the mixer jar and add cold milk over it and grind it.
  • Your Paan Thandai is ready. Cool it in the fridge for a while and then pour it into a glass.
  • Finally garnish with saffron and dry fruits and serve.
