Who will get an internship opportunity

A total of 1 lakh candidates will be selected under this internship scheme. Selected candidates will get an opportunity to do internships in various sectors such as banking, automobile, agriculture, pharma, aviation, IT, infrastructure, FMCG, petroleum, gems and jewellery, and housing. With this opportunity, youth can enhance their skills and move towards a better career in the future.

Eligibility Criteria

The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 24 years.

Youths studying online or distance can apply.

The annual income of the family should not exceed 8 lakhs.

If any member of the family is in a permanent government job, then he will not be able to apply.

Youth graduating from prestigious institutes like IIT, IIM, IISER, and NID will not be eligible to apply.

Youth will get a stipend every month.

Under the PM Internship Scheme 2025, candidates will get a stipend of Rs 5,000 every month. Rs 4500 of this amount will be provided by the central government and Rs 500 from CSR fund. Apart from this, a lump sum of Rs 6000 will also be provided.
