One person has died in connection with the violence at the Air Force base in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh

Dhaka: According to The Daily Star, one person has died as a result of the violence that occurred Monday at the Air Force installation in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The ISPR statement said that the air force installation in Cox’s Bazar had been assaulted by a bunch of criminals from the neighboring Samitipara.

Family members have named the dead as Shihab Kabir Nahid, a 25-year-old Samitipara resident. According to a Daily Star Bangladesh article, a person around 25 years old was “brought dead” to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital, according to Sabuktagin Mahmud Shohel, the hospital’s resident medical officer.

According to Shohel, the victim’s back had sustained severe damage. According to The Daily Star story, he said that an autopsy will determine the cause of his death. Ayesha Siddiqua, assistant director of ISPR, said in a news statement that the air force was taking the required steps in this respect.
