Danny Denzongpa dreamt of becoming an actor in Bollywood and with the same admiration he stepped into Bollywood and was offered multiple projects However Danny struggled to make his name in Bollywood before making his name he initially worked as a guard to a director. Many know Danny from his villainous roles on the big screen. Very few people know that he was offered positive roles during his early days where he debuted in Mere Apne released in 1971. After this Danny gained immense popularity after playing the role of an antagonist in the 1973 film Dhund. It is worth noting that Danny and Amitabh Bachchan never worked together. In one of the interviews in 2018 Danny revealed that he was afraid of working with Amitabh. According to him if both of them worked together their work is likely to go unnoticed. The Robot actor revealed Big B was a legend. People became his fans after seeing his works. Because of him he rejected four films including Mard and Coolie. According to media reports producer Manmohan Desai had offered him these films. Many may not know that Danny was offered the role of Gabbar in the 1975 film Sholay which proved to be a superhit at the box office. But at that time he was busy shooting for Dharmatma and he did not do this film either. Danny rejected Sholay because of Dharmatma. After this his career started falling off the track.
