This 1975 Italian film is considered one of the most controversial films of all time. The name of this film was Salò or the 120 Days of Sodom. This is a political art horror film directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini. This film is based on the 1785 novel The 120 Days of Sodom by the Marquis de Sade but its story is set during the Second World War. This was Pasolinis last film and there was a lot of controversy about this film. In the film some children are kidnapped and made puppets of the Nazis. The film shows rape murder and many horrible tortures of the kidnapped children which also included dirty acts like an*l rape. This film was banned in Australia till 1993 then it was banned again in 1998. The special thing was that the director of the film Pier Paolo Pasolini could not even defend his film because he was brutally murdered soon after its release. The film became a subject of controversy worldwide due to its controversial subject as well as bold-abusive scenes. The story revolves around four rich and corrupt people who kidnap 18 teenagers and torture them physically mentally and emotionally for four months. Actors like Paolo Bonacelli Giorgio Cataldi Uberto Paolo Quintavalle and Aldo Valletti appeared in the film. Apart from this Caterina Boratto Elsa De Giorgi Helen Serger and Sonia Saviang also played important roles.
