MS Dhoni the legendary former captain of the Indian cricket team continues to earn significant earnings even after retiring from international cricket six years ago. Known for his leadership in India’s 2011 ODI World Cup and 2007 T20 World Cup victories Dhoni remains an influential figure in cricket and sports. In October 2023 the State Bank of India (SBI) India’s largest public sector bank appointed Dhoni as its brand ambassador.  MS Dhoni Earned Rs 6 Crore From SBI Dhoni plays a pivotal role in SBI’s marketing campaigns the bank’s values of trust integrity and dedication. “We are pleased to onboard MS Dhoni as Brand Ambassador of SBI. Mr. Dhoni’s association with SBI as a satisfied customer makes him a perfect embodiment of our brand’s ethos” said SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara in a statement dated October 28 2023. As per reports Dhoni earns a hefty Rs 6 crore annually for this endorsement. Apart from his endorsement deals Dhoni continues to feature in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as a player for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) who retained him for the 2025 season. Abhishek Bachchan SBI Association Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan known for his films and businesss is also earning a substantial income through real estate. SBI has leased a 3150 sq. ft. commercial space owned by Bachchan near his residence Jalsa in Mumbai. According to a report by Zapkey.com the 15-year lease agreement gives Bachchan a monthly rent of Rs 18.9 lakh which will increase to Rs 23.6 lakh after five years and Rs 29.5 lakh after ten years. SBI’s Market Cap As of February 24 2025 SBI’s market capitalization stood at a staggering Rs 6.39 lakh crore. The bank has associations with celebrities like Dhoni’s through endorsements or leasing premium properties like Abhishek Bachchan’s shows its robust market presence and innovative approach to branding.
