Online gaming addiction in Muzaffarpur, Bihar killed a young man. A person from Madipur Ram Raji Road committed suicide by hanging himself. The name of the deceased is being described as 25 -year -old Ranjan Kumar. He committed suicide by hanging from the noose. Ranjan betted in the cricket match between India and Pakistan in the ICC Champion Trophy on Sunday. He committed suicide due to loss in betting.
On Monday, his body was found hanging in the house from a noose. The deceased Ranjan used to work at a medical store and was under stress due to losing the rupee on the online gaming app during the India-Pakistan match. When the mother Neelam Devi returned after returning to the vessel, she saw the son hanging. He had died by cutting the son from the neck and by then he had died. After receiving the information, Qazi Mohammadpur police station reached the spot.
After investigating the police, the body was captured and sent to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital for post -mortem. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the FSL team was called. He collected evidence for an hour. It is being told that the young man's mother had given him 1000 rupees for the gas cylinder and went to work. When she returned home, she saw the son hanging from the noose.
Ranjan was a final year student of graduation. However, it was not known how much money the young man speculated. On Monday afternoon, when her mother Neelam Devi returned from work, Ranjan's body was found hanging from the fan. Seeing the son's condition, the mother started screaming, causing a crowd of people around her house.
Ranjan's mother told that she had gone to work at 8:30 am and her elder son Chandan also left for his work at 6 am. At that time Ranjan was alone in the house, when the mother returned at 12 noon, she found the son swinging from the noose. The police is investigating all aspects whether it is a case of suicide or there is some other reason for death. Further action will be taken based on the report of the FSL team. The deceased's cousin Rakesh Kumar said that Ranjan was a salesman at the medical store. For the last 6 months, he was engaged in playing online betting. For this, he had taken a loan from many of his friends. He used to take money from home and put it in betting.
He also speculated in the India-Pakistan match on Sunday night. Ranjan's cousin told that Ranjan had asked for 1000 rupees from his mother at night, but he was under stress when he did not get the money. In the morning he was given 1000 to bring gas cylinders. Thanedar Jayaprakash Singh said that a case of suicide has come up in preliminary investigation. Further action will be taken on the application of the family, after the post -mortem and FSL report, the matter will be completely clean.
