India Post: Under the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2025 by the Indian Postal Department (India Post), a total of 21,413 posts of Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) are to be recruited. The registration process for this is going on, which is going to run till March 03, 2025. 10th pass candidates can apply for this recruitment. This recruitment is being done in 23 circles across the country.

Gramin Dak Sevaks are given a fixed pay scale by the Government of India. Below is the pay scale information for both the posts based on the official notice:

India Post GDS Eligibility: Educational Qualification and Required Skills
Candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board.
Mathematics and English subjects are mandatory in 10th.
Knowledge of the local language of the state for which you are applying is mandatory.
Basic knowledge of computers is necessary.
Must have the ability to ride a bicycle (if the candidate has the skill of riding a scooty or bike, it will also be accepted).
Candidates between the ages of 18 to 40 years can apply for this recruitment. Age relaxation is given as per the rules.
How is the selection process?
There will be no written exam in this recruitment.
The selection will be done purely based on a merit list based on 10th marks.
Candidates with higher education will not get additional preference.
