According to experts, modern diet has high amounts of processed foods, unhealthy fats and sugars, which are causing obesity in children. Fat tissue plays an important role in hormone production, especially estrogen, which is responsible for the onset of puberty. Overweight girls are more likely to start puberty quickly.

Experts also blame environmental and chemical effects such as Bisphenol A BPA, fathlets, and pesticides, which can obstruct the function of hormones, which increases the chances of premature puberty.

Emotional and psychological stress can also affect the onset of puberty. Girls who experience high level of stress, family conflict or father's absence may have a quick beginning.

In today's digital age, children stick to their phones all the time. Life is becoming motionless due to lesser physical activity than before, which can contribute to weight gain and hormonal imbalance. Excessive screen time can obstruct melatonin production, which helps to regulate puberty.
