Makhana Kofta Gravy Recipe

- First of all collect the ingredients mentioned above. Then lightly roast the makhana and grind it coarsely. Then mash the boiled potatoes.
- Add arrowroot flour, green chillies, cumin seeds, rock salt and garam masala and knead the dough. Now add this mixture and make small koftas.
- Now fry it on low flame till it turns golden. Then heat oil or ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds to it. Make tomato puree.
- Now add tomato puree, turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder and fry the spices well.
- When the tomato mixture is cooked, add curd to it and mix well. Add roasted makhana powder to it and add 1 cup water and let it cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
- When the gravy thickens, add cream or cashew paste and garam masala and mix. Now add fried koftas and cashew paste to the prepared gravy.
- Cook well after adding water. When it is cooked, add garam masala to it and serve it by adding green coriander.
