  • If you are having regular periods and your cycle is around 28-32 days, then it is considered a healthy period cycle. This means that you will be able to conceive easily.
  • If your period flow is too heavy or for too many days, you may have menorrhagia. This can cause infertility.
  • If your period flow is very less and your periods end in 1 or 2 days, then this is also not a good sign.
  • Having too many blood clots during periods also indicates that your fertility is not right.
  • Irregular periods, no periods, or irregular flow can also be a sign that you are having difficulty ovulating.
  • If you are bleeding black at the beginning or end of your period, this is the blood that does not come out of the uterus in time. This indicates poor blood flow and means that the uterus is not functioning properly.
  • The blood that comes during periods is a mixture of blood and cervical fluid. This is a sign that there is a lack of estrogen in your body or you have anemia. Lack of estrogen affects the uterine lining and due to this it becomes difficult for the embryo to implant.

  • If you are having purple blood or heavy bleeding, it could be a sign of increased estrogen, PCOS and endometriosis . All these conditions affect ovulation and fertility.
  • If your period cycle is lasting for 3-5 days, you have a healthy flow and your blood is red, it means that your hormones are working properly and your fertility is good.
  • If you have orange colored blood, this is also normal. But if it smells bad, then it can be a sign of infection.
