Bad news for team amid champions trophy… a dangerous player out of the tournament

Champions Trophy: A bad news has come between the ongoing Champions Trophy in Pakistan. Jose Butler's England team has suffered a major setback. The team's fast bowler Braden Cars has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament due to the thumb injury. Spinner Rehan Ahmed has been called in his place. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have confirmed the bowler to be out of the tournament.

 

Was injured against Australia

England's bowling all -rounder bridal Carr has been ruled out of the rest of the matches of the ICC Men Champions Trophy due to injury to the left to -finger. ECB gave this information. Carr suffered the injury to the initial match of Group B of Champions Trophy against arch -rivals Australia in Lahore on Saturday. He could not participate in England's training session on Monday due to thumb injury.

Cars were considered fit for the first match of the tournament against Australia, but had to struggle to achieve their rhythm. He proved to be the most expensive bowler against the Kangaroo team. He scored at an economy rate of 9.85.

 

There is an old problem of cars.

According to media reports, he started having toe problems during England's visit to India before the Champions Trophy. For this, he had to put stitches and he was out of England's last two ODIs against India. He has been dropped from the Champions Trophy team of England before the second group match against Afghanistan in Lahore on Wednesday due to the seriousness of the injury.

Rashid will get the support of Rehan.

Rehan was in the England team as a substitute for cars during the tour of India. His involvement will strengthen England's spin attack, with Adil Rashid the only leading spinner. The 20 -year -old spinner has taken 10 wickets in five ODIs for England. Jamie overton can replace her in England's playing XI due to Carr's absence. Saqib Mahmood and Gas Atkinson are the other fast bowlers in the England's 15 -member team.
