Material for making sago kheer

Sago – 1 cup
Milk – 4 cups
Sugar – ½ cup (as per taste)
Cardamom Powder – ½ teaspoon
Ghee – 1 teaspoon
Sliced ​​fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios)-2-3 tablespoons
Raisins – 1 tablespoon (optional)

How to make sago kheer

First wash the sago thoroughly and soak it in water for 1-2 hours. Sago should be completely flourished.

Now put 4 cups of milk in a pan and keep it on medium flame to boil.

When the milk starts boiling, then add soaked sago and mix it well. Allow the sago to cook in milk. You have to keep running it again and again, so that it does not look in milk.

When the sago is cooked well and the kheer becomes thick, add sugar to it and also add ghee. Now mix it well. Cook the sugar until it dissolves completely.

Now add cardamom powder to the kheer and mix well. When the kheer is ready, while serving it, add cashews, almonds, and raisins and decorate it. Sabudana Kheer is ready! It can be served in both hot or cold ways.
