UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna announced the scheme during the budget on 20 February. A budget of Rs 400 crore has also been approved by the government for this scheme. This free scooty will be given to meritorious girl students by the government.

Which girls will benefit?
The aim of this new scheme launched by the UP government is to encourage girls to study and provide assistance for them.
