Delhi Chief Minister's Rekha Gupta government today presented the CAG report in the assembly. The report said that due to wrong decisions of the previous government, the government has suffered heavy losses. The report says that the Delhi government has lost 2002.68 crores in the excise case. After the report appeared in the assembly, a big claim of former CM Atishi has come out. He said that Delhi has suffered a loss of 2 thousand crores, that is also due to 3 people.

The former Chief Minister said that the 2000 crore loss to Delhi with 3 people includes Lt. Governor, CBI and ED. Our demand is that on the basis of CAG report, these three should be investigated as to stop this policy and a loss of 2000 crores was made to the government. He said that the report is telling that the Aam Aadmi Party government had transparency in the new excise policy, there were ways to stop black marketing and increase treasures. If this policy came into force in Punjab, then the excise revenue of Punjab has increased in a year. 6158 crore in 2021-2022, 8841 crore after New Excise Policy and in 2025 which will increase to 10146 crore.

What did Atishi say?

Atishi said that the CAG report also states that if this policy was properly implemented in Delhi, then Delhi's excise revenue would have increased from 4108 crores to 8911 crore. This would have happened in just one year. We had brought a good policy but if it did not improve properly, then the treasury of the government could not reach 8900 crores and 2000 crores was reduced, but whose hands are behind the two thousand crores? Who stopped this policy from being implemented?

Former CM said- Who stopped the policy from being implemented?

He said that on the basis of this CAG report, it is very important to investigate who had stopped the policy from being implemented properly that there was a loss of 2000 crores. I hope that he will be investigated. Because three people are responsible for implementing it. It has the first number Lt. Governor who did not allow the New Excise Policy Employment to be done. CBI is at number two. Which filed a case before the completion of one year of the policy and the third number is the Enforcement Directorate.
