Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Announces ₹2500 Financial Aid for Women
In a significant move, newly elected Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced a ₹2500 monthly financial assistance scheme for women. The first installment will be credited directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day. This initiative, which was a key election promise of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is now being implemented.

As part of its election commitments, the BJP had pledged a ₹2500 monthly allowance for women. Following her appointment as Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta prioritized this initiative, ensuring that the first payment is made on March 8, 2025.
To qualify for the scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
✅ Aadhaar Card
✅ Delhi Residence Certificate
✅ Bank Account Linked with Aadhaar
✅ Income Certificate
🔹 Income Limit: Only women with an annual income of ₹3 lakh or less are eligible. Those earning above this threshold will not be able to avail of the scheme’s benefits.
Women who meet the eligibility criteria must complete the online application process to receive the financial aid. Follow these steps to apply:

2️⃣ Register Yourself on the portal.
3️⃣ Upload Required Documents for verification.
4️⃣ Fill Out and Submit the Application Form online.
Interestingly, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had previously proposed a ₹2100 monthly assistance for women in its election manifesto. However, the BJP increased the amount to ₹2500, making it a more lucrative offer for Delhi’s women. Now, with the BJP government in power, this scheme is being swiftly rolled out to ensure timely financial support for eligible beneficiaries.
