I check out the new-in section at H&M every week, and this week in particular, I couldn't believe how luxe the pieces looked and how affordable their price tags were. One item in particular that caught my eye was the , £37.99.

This knit looks like a designer piece but for . In my opinion, the main design feature that makes it look so luxe is the cinched-in waist.

That detail reminds me of Khaite's £1.7k cashmere cardigan that Katie Holmes famously wore back in 2019. Although they don't look entirely the same, the most noticeable difference is that the Khaite one is slouchier and features pockets. Despite this, however, H&M's cardi has that thick knit and cinched waist reminiscent of the designer piece.
