February 28, New Delhi Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has something for those who were unable to attend the Prayagraj Sangam after around 66 crore devotees took a sacred bath during the recently completed 45-day Maha Kumbh.

Beginning on Friday, he has requested that the river water be distributed to 75 districts around the state.

All districts would get Ganga water from the Yogi administration, and the Fire and Emergency Services Department has been enlisted to help with this. On Friday, the fire trucks that were sent out for the Maha Kumbh Mela will go back to their individual districts.

According to the state administration, “this is a unique initiative to distribute Sangam water across all districts of Uttar Pradesh,” it said Thursday.

CM Adityanath has already said that Sangam water will be sent to the homes of people unable to attend the Maha Kumbh. Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pramod Sharma was then instructed by ADG Fire Department Padmaja Chauhan to make sure that all returning fire tenders from Maha Kumbh deliver Sangam water to their respective districts.

The district government set up new fire stations and sent out 365 trucks in advance of the Maha Kumbh Mela to ensure prompt response to any fire crises.

The administration also said that devotees may carry out rituals at home once the water distribution process begins.

Over 66 million worshippers from all over India and outside flocked to the banks of Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela, which took place from January 13 to February 26.

More than 66 crore people visited Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mystical Saraswati rivers, during the 45-day event that ended on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Maha Kumbh and the efforts of the Center, the government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and the people of Prayagraj for serving devotees from all over the nation.

The prime minister said that the large crowd represented a country that had overcome its enslavement mentality and was now breathing freely. “We have finished the Maha Kumbh. In a blog post on Maha Kumbh, he said, “The’mahayagna’ of unity has ended.”
