A bad news has come out for Vodafone Idea amid selling in the stock market. On the one hand, while the company's shares on BSE lost 3.08 percent on Friday, on the other hand the company has also received notice to fill GST. Vodafone Idea (VI) has received an order from the Deputy Commissioner of West Bengal, in which he has been asked to give a GST of Rs 16.73 crore. Notice has been sent to the company to use input tax credit and reduce tax.

Vodafone Idea is not taking the name of the difficulties, where a broker street has become red. At the same time, Vodafone Idea is also in a bad state. On the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday, the main index Sensex of the market fell completely. The Sensex broke more than 14,00 in a single day and has been red in the market for the last 5 months. At the same time, in the meantime, bumper selling has also been seen in the shares of Vodafone Idea. Today, Vodafone shares fell 3.08 per cent to close at Rs 7.56. Now the problem of filling GACT has also come in front of the company. As a result of this order, VI has been asked to give a GST of Rs 16.73 crore, as well as interest and fine. VI says that he does not agree with this order and will appeal against it.

The company said will appeal

After receiving the GST notice, a statement has also been issued by the VI company, which states that we do not agree with GST notice. We do not believe this and the company will appeal against it further.

Notice came due to these reasons

Due to the irregularity of GST demand order to the company, notice has been sent to notice for more use of input tax credit. The GST demand order is issued by GST officials, when the authorities feel that no company is correcting GST or has filled the wrong GST.
