British tennis star is set to work with interim coach Tom Welsh as she prepares for the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.
Welsh will step in to help Raducanu after a concerning incident in Dubai, where a fan displaying 'fixated behaviour' left her . The man later ', and this ordeal has prompted organisers to stateside.
With her previous coach, , stepping down due to health concerns after the , Raducanu has been working with a team that includes Jane O'Donoghue, , and strength and conditioning coach Yutaka Nakamura.

Now, Welsh will bring his expertise to the table, having worked as an Academy Coach at Loughborough University since 2022 and previously assisted Raducanu's US Open final opponent, Leylah Fernandez, who has expressed a desire to sit down and chat with the Brit over their Flushing Meadows feat.
"When we see each other crossing the halls, practice courts, we always smile at each other because we know what we did was incredible. We just want the best for each other," Fernandez admitted in 2022 when asked about her interactions with conqueror Raducanu.
She also expressed a desire to sit down and reflect on their final in the near future but admitted this may come at the end of the 2025 WTA season, saying: "It would be interesting. But now, because it’s in-season and we want to do well in our own careers, we try to put it behind us. We don’t want to focus on it too much.
"Maybe at the end of the season, when we cross paths, maybe we could have a conversation about it. For now, you can't be thinking about the past. You have to be thinking about what you're doing right now."
As 22-year-old Grand Slam winner Raducanu continues her search for a new permanent coach, Welsh will provide support in the interim.
The Englishman previously worked at Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club and, with Loughborough, aided young star Henry Searle to a Wimbledon Junior Boys title in 2023. He has been a practice partner for some of the WTA's best.
Meanwhile, former British No. 1 Laura Robson reckons Raducanu isn't in a hurry to enlist a new full-time coach, with the options available to her currently limited, reports .
Speaking to , she remarked: "I don't think she's in any rush, really, to employ someone new, just for the sake of it. There's not too many amazing coaches around who can travel full-time. So [her] options are pretty limited. You wouldn't want to enter a new partnership without 100 per cent confidence."
