When it comes to classic kitchen staples, are up there with the best of them.
They make a great breakfast, lunch or dinner and can even be added to certain meals to jazz them up a little. But, when it comes to making the perfect boiled egg, it can be a tricky task to get right.
Luckily for us, previously shared a brilliant tip to help people achieve "perfect" boiled eggs. When you follow his simple guide, the process isn't as difficult as you think.
According to the TV chef's video, you need to bring the water to a boil before you drop the eggs in. You then lower them into the water with a spoon, and cook them for six minutes.
Make sure you time how long you cook them for, as this part is essential. The key, according to Ramsay, is boiling them "gently" so they cook at a steady speed.
After six minutes, Gordon removes them from the pan, and he puts them straight into cold water. He then cracks the base of the egg before allowing them to sit in water, and this tip is crucial.
This will allow the egg shell to come off super smoothly when it's time to remove it. From here, he dips it back in the water to remove any excess shell before cutting it open.
If you use this method, he said your boiled eggs should be "slightly" runny in the middle, which is what most people want to achieve. When you see the end result, it's hard to think they don't look good.
The video has been viewed over 700,000 times since it was shared, and people were quick to comment too. They had all sorts of thoughts and ideas about the recipe.
One person said: "I'll have to try that." Another wrote: "I never thought I'd be blowing eggs, but here we are."
A third replied: "Gordon is a legend. I know this is just eggs, but he's one of the best. My mum was a cook and he reminds me of my childhood hanging out."
Some didn't like the idea of blowing eggs though. They couldn't get their head around why someone would do it.
A fourth chimed in with: "Minus the blowing on the egg, it looks amazing." Someone else also wrote: "I don't know about blowing into the egg you're serving someone else."
