Tel Aviv: According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Muhammad Mahdi Ali Shahin, a Hezbollah terrorist who was involved in the concentration of terrorist transactions for the purchase of weapons on the Syria-Lebanon border following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, was attacked and killed by an Israel Air Force aircraft Thursday night in the Al-Harmal area of Lebanon.

In order to continue the re-establishment of Hezbollah’s armed capabilities, which were destroyed by Israel’s attacks over the past 15 months, the IDF explained that Shaheen was assigned the task of carrying out terrorist transactions for the purchase of weapons for the terrorist organization and coordinating the arrival of the shipments and their distribution to the various units as part of his work for Hezbollah.

In this context, Shahin collaborated with a number of smugglers and traffickers who work along the Syria-Lebanon border and support Hezbollah, a terrorist group.

According to the IDF, Shahin’s actions clearly broke the agreements between Israel and Lebanon and posed a danger to the State of Israel and its people.
