Material
Flour-2 cups
Ghee-3-4 tablespoons (to mix in flour)
Aromatic ghee – to fry
Mawa Khoya- 1 Cup
Grown sugar – 1/2 cup
Coconut (grated) – 1/4 cup
Poppy – 1 table spoon
Raisins – 2 Table Spoon
Pistachio and almond (chopped) – 2 tablespoons
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 T Spoon
Method
1- Sieve the dough in a big vessel and add ghee to it and spices well. The dough should be soft and soft. After kneading the dough, cover it with a wet cloth and keep it for 15-20 minutes.
2- Now put mawa (khoya) in a pan and fry it lightly, so that its water comes out. Then add sugar, coconut, poppy seeds, raisins, chopped pistachios and almonds.
3-Mix it well and add cardamom powder and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then keep this mixture to cool down.
4-Make small dough dough dough. Now roll the dough with a rolling and give it a round shape. Add stuffing in the middle of it and wet the edges with water and give the shape of Gujia.
5-Then, press and sealed these Gujari, so that they do not open while frying.
6-Heat ghee in a pan. When the ghee becomes well heated, then add the Gujis slowly and fry it on medium flame till it becomes golden and crispy. Remove the hot guamia in a plate and serve when it cools down.
