In the year 2020, this drama also got recognition in India. Actually, after going off air in Turkey, the makers decided to present this drama in Urdu. Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) bought its Urdu rights and then dubbed it in Urdu. Islamic things have also been shown in this drama. In such a situation, PTV decided to present this series to the audience in the month of Ramadan.
Instead of 'Dirilis Ertugrul', it was released in Urdu as 'Ertugrul Ghazi'. On 24 April 2020, the first day of Ramadan, PTV streamed an episode of this drama on YouTube. After that, the rest of the episodes were released one by one. PTV's strategy of releasing this drama during Ramadan worked. The month of Ramadan benefited them. Within a month, this drama became famous from India to Pakistan.
