Mahindra sold 2 cars every minute while Maruti sold 5 cars... this is the condition of Tata and Hyundai

The figures of vehicles sold by the major companies of the auto sector in the country in February have come out, in which Maruti has once again set a sales record. Sales of Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, and Kia saw a rise. At the same time, sales of Hyundai and Tata Motors have declined. In February, Maruti sold about 5 vehicles every minute, while Mahindra sold 2 units every minute.

 

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) vehicle sales grew 15 percent to 83,702 units in February. The company sold 72,923 units in February last year. Vijay Nakra, President of, Automotive Division, M&M, said that this strong performance is the result of continued positive momentum for our SUV segment. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki India's total sales in February stood at 1,99,400 units with a marginal increase year-on-year. Maruti Suzuki India said in a statement that the company had sold a total of 1,97,471 vehicles in the same month last year. Along with this, Kia India's total sales in February grew 23.8 percent to 25,026 units. The company sold 20,200 units in the same month last year.

Hyundai Motor sales drop

In the month of February, on one hand, the sales of Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra vehicles have increased. On the other hand, sales of Hyundai Motor India and Tata Motors have seen a decline. The total sales of Hyundai Motor India vehicles in February fell by three percent year-on-year to 58,727 units. The company's sales have declined in February 2025.

 

Tata Motors sales decline

At the same time, Tata Motors has said that their sales have also declined this month. The company said that in February, its domestic and international sales declined by 8 percent year-on-year to 79,344 units. The company had sold 86,406 units in the same month last year.
