A press release from Infinix affirmed that DeepSeek-R1 is completely integrated into all its devices. Smartphones using XOS 14.5 and later OS versions, including the forthcoming NOTE 50 series devices, will support it.
This implies that DeepSeek-R1 should be available on Infinix smartphones scheduled to receive the XOS 14.5 upgrade soon. Regarding implementation, Infinix claims to have incorporated DeepSeek-R1 into its Folax assistant. Customers can use text-based and voice commands through this integration to access DeepSeek's AI model's capabilities on Infinix devices.
Nevertheless, the business has not disclosed any information regarding the new capabilities that users would experience due to the DeepSeek-R1 integration in the Folax assistant. The results of DeepSeek-R1, which was released in January of this year, are on par with those of models developed by firms such as OpenAI, the company that created ChatGPT.
