New Flight Service: Direct Flights from Hindon Airport to Goa Begin, First Flight Departs with 70 Passengers

The first direct flight from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad to Goa officially took off today. The flight was inaugurated by Union Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu at Hindon Civil Terminal Airport on Saturday.

Inaugural Flight to Goa

Seventy passengers, including Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg, MLA Ajit Pal Tyagi, and Sanjeev Sharma, were onboard the first flight from Hindon to Goa. The launch of this new route is expected to enhance air connectivity and make travel more convenient for passengers.

Expansion of Flight Services from Hindon

During the event, Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu announced plans to further expand flight connectivity from Hindon Airport. He confirmed that services will soon be available to several other cities, including:

  • Prayagraj
  • Lucknow
  • Ayodhya
  • Varanasi

Additionally, the minister revealed that Jewar Airport is scheduled to commence operations in April 2025.

New Destinations and Flight Schedules

  • Flights to Goa and Kolkata commenced on Saturday.
  • Flights to Bengaluru will start operating from Sunday.
  • Direct flights to Jammu and Chennai will begin on March 22, 2025.
  • Two daily flights to Bengaluru will also be introduced starting March 22.
  • A 180-seater aircraft will be deployed for operations from Hindon.

These developments mark a significant step in improving regional air connectivity and offering travelers more flight options from Hindon Airport.
