Shangri-La is also leading the sustainability shift, integrating waste-conscious planning, farm-to-table dining, and carbon-neutral travel options into wedding packages. “20% of high-end weddings now incorporate eco-conscious elements, ensuring that indulgence is balanced with responsibility,” shares Gongo.

Guest hospitality is evolving from simple accommodations to immersive, multi-day experiences. With wedding guest lists becoming more intimate—often under 150 attendees—luxury hotels are crafting highly personalized itineraries.

With 70% of weddings now integrating live-streaming, hotels ensure that virtual attendees feel as much a part of the celebration as those physically present.
Taj’s Timeless Weddings program further enhances hospitality with exclusive cultural touchpoints. “From bespoke wedding concierge services to immersive Jaipur heritage tours, private folk performances, and wellness retreats at J Wellness Circle, we ensure guests have a seamless, indulgent experience,” adds Rathore.
