- On Sunday, the Army reported that three more bodies had been recovered, while one worker remains missing following an avalanche that struck a Border Roads Organisation (BRO) project site in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on Friday. With this latest update, the death toll has risen to seven. At the time of the avalanche, 54 workers were present at the site.
