Even after two weeks in theaters the film continues its strong run and is on the verge of breaking a major record. Made on a budget of Rs 140 crore Chhaava opened with Rs 31 crore on its first day collected Rs 116.5 crore over its opening weekend and earned a massive Rs 219.5 crore in its first week.
