Aishwarya Rai Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar were shooting for Khakee near Nashik in 2003. While filming one of the scenes Aishwarya met with a terrible accident leaving the entire cast and crew shocked. A stuntman lost control while driving too fast. Unable to move Aishwarya and her co-star Tushar Kapoor were caught off guard by the speeding vehicle. The car slammed into her chair and the situation became way too critical. Akshay Kumar had to step in pulling the car away and extricating Aishwarya Rai who was then rushed to the hospital.
