  • Ingredients to make semolina uttapam1 cup swollen
    ½ cup yogurt
    ½ cup of water
    Capsicum
    Onion
    Tomato
    Green chilly
    Green coriander
    Salt taste
    black pepper
    chilli powder
    Turmeric
    Cumin
    Cooking oil

Method of making semolina uttapam-

  • To make the uttapam of semolina, first of all, mix semolina, curd and water in a bowl and cover it for 10 minutes, so that the semolina swells.
  • Add puffed finely chopped onions, tomatoes, capsicum, green chillies and green coriander.
  • Now add salt, pepper, red chili, turmeric and cumin seeds and mix well.
  • After this, put ino in the prepared batter and mix it lightly.
  • Now heat a pan and apply a little oil on it and spread the batter and spread it in a round shape.
  • Cover it on low flame and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn over and roast till it becomes golden from the other side.
  • Serve hot semolina uttapam with coconut chutney or tomato sauce.
