If your mobile network goes or disappears again and again during the journey in the mountains, then this problem is going to go away. The government is gearing up for this and all the mobile towers present here have electricity or not, but the technology to keep 24 hours is going to be available. There are more than 10 lakh mobile towers in the country right now and many of them are in hills and remote areas.

In order to keep the mobile tower run 24 hours in remote areas, the government has prepared a solution from hydrogen fuel cell. This will provide electricity to the mobile tower at a very low cost. At the same time no one will make pollution. Right now, electricity is provided to the mobile tower from diesel generators in areas where the grid related electricity is not available. This causes a lot of pollution.

Government made PEM solution

The government has developed the hydrogen -powered PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) fuel cell. These fuel cells work in a plug-and-play manner. They start automatically in a short time compared to diesel generators and run at low temperatures. Even more important that only water spray comes out from these fuel cells and they do not leave smoke at all.

TRAI also prepared

The government is trying to promote green energy in the country and reduce pollution. In this, pollution from mobile tower is an important factor. Telecom regulator TRAI also told the telecom companies in 2012 to run 50 percent in rural areas and 33 percent of the mobile tower in cities should be run by hybrid renewable energy.
