Meizu has returned to the smartphone market with three new smartphones from the brand presented at the Mobile World Congress 2025: Meizu Note 22, mblu 22, and the mblu 22 pro. All three phones are set to run on Android 15 with the FlyMe skin. These smartphones are planned to cater to various users with budget-friendly options.
The Meizu Note 22 is an entry-level device featuring a 6.78-inch display with a 1080p LCD screen and a Helio G99 chipset. The Note 22 is said to be available in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 128 GB Storage and 8GB RAM + 256 GB Storage. It boasts a 108MP Camera and a 32MP selfie imager, with the specifications of the other two rear cameras unknown. It is also powered by a 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support at 40W. It is equipped with NFC, IR blaster, and 4G connectivity as well and offers three color variants: Blue, Purple, and White Gold.
The Meizu mblu 22 smartphone is equipped with a 6.79-inch 720p LCD screen that runs on a Unisoc chipset that is currently unknown. It comes in two specifications: 3GB RAM + 64 GB Storage or 4GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front one with stereo speakers, as well as a 5,000mAh battery. It is booted with the Go Edition of Android 15 and offers three color variants: Black, Yellow, and Light Blue.
The final phone unveiled by Meizu, the mblu 22 Pro, is a strict upgrade over the regular mblu 22. It has a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 chip and has three configurations available: the 4GB RAM + 128 GB storage, the 6GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and finally, the 8GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The 6.79-inch 720p display features a high refresh rate, and the 5,000mAh battery supports up to 18W charging, compared to 10W on the mblu 22. It comes with NFC connectivity and is offered in three colour variants as well: Dark Grey, Green, and Titanium White.
