Farah Khan reveals she is 'strict' with her teenage triplets: 'My daughters have never been to a club, don't wear makeup or get their eyebrows done'

Filmmaker Farah Khan recently shared her views on parenting and how she never wants her children to be restricted from attending parties, wearing makeup, and more. In a recent video uploaded to her YouTube channel, she was seen having a conversation with actress Rubina Dilaik , who is currently appearing in 'Laughter Chef Season 2'. The actress, who embraced motherhood in 2023 with the birth of her twin daughters, Edhaa and Jiva, sought parenting advice from Farah , who is a mother to triplets.
Farah reflected on her own journey of raising two daughters, Anya and Diya, along with her son, Czar. She recalled her pregnancy experience, saying, “When I was expecting, I always prayed for two boys and one girl. Luckily, God didn’t listen to me and gave me two girls. They are the best.”
Farah further opened up about her children and how they have been raised during their teenage years. “My three kids will go to college next year; they have turned 17. Luckily, they are not overindulged. Recently, they celebrated their birthday and preferred to have a family dinner with us rather than go to a club and party. My daughters have never been to a club, and to this day, they don’t wear makeup or get their eyebrows done; they are only focused on their studies.”
Rubina, impressed by Farah’s approach to parenting, praised her for ensuring her children remain grounded despite their exposure to the entertainment industry. Farah described herself as a strict mother, saying she never allows them to go wherever they want without her tracking them. Every evening, they have a gossip chat to keep up with what is happening in their lives.
However, she also revealed that while she is strict, she considers herself a ‘cool’ and fun mum. She treats all three of them equally but maintains a slightly stricter approach with her son. Farah explained that she teaches her son how to speak to girls and ensures that his friends do not speak about his sisters in an inappropriate manner. He has been taught to exclude people who speak badly about them.
Rubina also shared how she and her husband, Abhinav, have been extra cautious since becoming parents. Farah confidently asserted that the future belongs to strong women.
