Mobile : Recently, Apple has launched the iPhone 16E, after which now one leaks are coming out after the other series, in which the most discussed is about the Air Model. The iPhone 17 series is expected to be released in September 2025, in which the air variant will come for the first time. The iPhone 17 Air is considered the thinnest iPhone of Apple, which can be thinner than the iPhone 6. However, Apple's upcoming phone may have to pay some price to get this crown. Recent reports are claiming that three features of the flagship series may disappear in the air variant. Let's know about them …

Single camera

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to have a single camera just like the iPhone 16E. This is the first time in 8 years when Apple can launch a flagship model with single camera lens. It was last seen in the iPhone 8, which was launched in 2017. But now it can return to the iPhone 17 Air based on leaks. The reason for this is said to be dilute of the phone.

Single speaker

Not only this, this time the iPhone 17 Air is said to be a single speaker, which will remove the bottom age speaker found in the existing iPhones. The meaning of this change means that the stereo sound experience available in the current model can deteriorate. According to the previous leaks, this ultra-thin iPhone model will depend entirely on its top speaker for audio output. The recent 3D renders of the iPhone 17 Air prove this claim correct, with only a few holes on the lower edge, which are for microphones rather than a speaker.

Apple is planning to remove physical SIM card tray from iPhone 17 Air in most countries next year. All prototypes of the air model have seen lack of SIM tray. Apple first introduced ESIM-only iPhone in the US with the iPhone 14 series, but China did not accept ESIM in smartphones. Despite this, Apple has emphasized that e-SIMs are more secure, as they cannot be stolen or removed from the device. Additionally, the iPhone can store and manage up to eight ESIMs at a time, which eliminates the need to carry and replace the physical SIM card during the journey.
