Obnews Desk: On Sunday, when Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Gautam reached Bahujan Samaj Party office in Lucknow for a meeting of senior officials of the party, he searched for a chair in the meeting room. Then an employee told Gautam that party chief Mayawati has instructed that the MP should be asked to sit on one of the five chairs placed on his right on the stage.

In the absence of Mayawati's nephew and national coordinator Akash Anand, Gautam was offered a seat next to the party's national general secretary SC Mishra, which led to the discussion about major organizational changes in the room. A few minutes later, the BSP chief made a blast that some people expected.

The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh announced that Anand has been removed from the post of National Coordinator and now two leaders will take over the responsibility. He nominated Ramji Gautam and party vice -president Anand Kumar, his brother and Akash's father, as the new national coordinator.

Gautam was brought in his place.
