Desk. South actor Karti has been injured on the set of his upcoming film 'Sardar 2'. The actor has suffered a leg injury. The accident occurred when the team of 'Sardar 2' was shooting some important scenes in Mysore. Karti was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital, where doctors investigated her injuries. According to reports, they have been advised to rest for a week.

After the doctor's advice, the makers of 'Sardar 2' decided to stop shooting and returned to Chennai. Shooting will start again after Karti recovers from injury. It is being told that 80 percent of the film's work has been completed. The team will soon return to work after getting the approval of Karti and the makers.

Recently, the team of Sardar 2 shot the film's climax on a grand set at a film studio in Chennai. Karti and SJ Surya participated in the current schedule. Avesh's stunt co-ordinator Chetan Ramshi D'Souza choreographed a high-octane stunt sequence in which Karti and SJ Surya would be seen.

Karthi will play double roles in 'Sardar 2' directed by PS Mithran. The film story will be allegedly based at two different times. The film came on the floor in mid -2024 and it is expected that its shooting will be completed in a few weeks. Karti and Rajisha Vijayan will repeat their roles. The sequel will also feature SJ Surya, Malavika Mohanan and Ashika Ranganath in important roles. Produced by Prince Pictures, the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematographer George C Williams, Editor Vijay Velukutty and stunt choreographer Dilip Subbarayan are part of the technical team.
