Throughout his decades-long career, Bobby Deol has had both highs and lows. In a recent reflection on the difficulties during a trying period, the actor said that he sought employment by reaching out to specialists in the field.
He ‘knocked on doors’ and presented himself to individuals to ask for opportunities, Bobby Deol said. He said that because obtaining a job was crucial when things weren’t going well, he didn’t feel bad about doing this.
Bobby Deol Requested Employment During A Negative Stage
In an interview with India Today, the Aashram actor also compared his experiences with the changing film business. When he first began, he said, things were different. People would give him freelance jobs. However, things began to change as additional artists joined the company.
As Bobby Deol put it, “It was different when I started out, as people would offer me work by themselves. Pehle zamana alag tha, jab shuruat ki thi toh aisa nahi tha, pehle log khud aate the.” Then, the number of performers grew. It’s unfortunate that we often forget how many people are joining and will continue to join.
“Maine logo ke darwaze khatkhataye hain and bola hai ki main Bobby Deol hoon aur mujhe kaam dijiiye while I was going through a tough time. You need a job, therefore I don’t see anything wrong with it. At least they’ll remember that I was met by Bobby Deol. Sometimes, this is translated into work as well. Therefore, there’s nothing to feel guilty about,” he said.
Regarding his career, Bobby Deol had a successful return in 2023 with Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Venga. His acting career expanded as he received attention for his portrayal of a villain in the film. Recently, he has also starred in films like Kanguva and Daaku Maharaaj.
