Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is going to start admission for class 1 in KVS schools. Parents or guardians who want to educate their children in Kendriya Vidyalayas can take advantage of this opportunity. Balvatika 1 and 3 and class 1 registration process is starting from 10 am on March 7, parents will be able to apply by visiting the official website kvsangathan.nic.in.

When is the last date?

Know that the last date to apply for Balvatika 1 and 3 and class 1 is March 21, 2025. The provisional list of candidates selected for class 1 in KVS schools and registered in the wait list will be announced on March 25 and for Balvatika on March 26. The second provisional list will be released on April 2 and the third provisional list will be available on April 7, 2025.

What should be the age?

According to the official notice, the child should be at least 6 years old for admission in class 1. The age for all classes will be calculated from March 31, 2025. At the same time, reservation for seats will be as per the rules of KVS Admission Guidelines 2025-26. Along with this, the age for Balvatika-1, 2 and 3 should be 3 to 4 years, 4 to 5 years and 5 to 6 years respectively.

Offline admission at some places

The registration process for new admissions in Balvatika-2 and 3 (where online admissions are not being done) in class 2 and above (except class 11) will start on 2 April at 10.00 am, which will be in offline mode only till 4 pm on 11 April. Parents have to keep in mind that the duly filled form has to be submitted in the principal office in the respective KV.

The first provisional list for admission in Balvatika 2 and class 2 onwards will be announced on April 14. At the same time, admission for Balvatika 2 and class 2 onwards will be from 18 April to 21 April 2024 and the last date for admission for all classes except class 11 is 30 June 2025.

What was said in the notice?

An official notice said, "The list of registered children, list of eligible children, category wise list of provisionally selected children, waiting list and subsequent lists are mandatorily to be published on the website/social media handles of the respective schools such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) besides being put up on the notice board of the school."
