The Blackpink star shared her unsettling experience living alone on a show aired on Thai MC Woody’s YouTube channel. She said last year, after returning to her private residence in South Korea from the airport, Lisa encountered a stranger standing in front of her house. At the time, she told the stranger she felt uncomfortable and urged them to meet her in public places if they wished to see her. After reviewing her security footage, Lisa discovered that the person had been hanging around her house at night.

On another occasion, when her manager couldn’t pick her up, Lisa took a taxi to her dance rehearsal. As she was getting in, the stranger suddenly ran up and blocked the door, attempting to get in with her.

“I don’t want to go into details, but it was the first time I faced such a situation and I couldn’t react in time,” she recalled. “I was scared, as that person got too close.”

Since then, Lisa has asked her female manager to live with her in both South Korea and the U.S. While she noted that most of her fans are sweet and respectful of her privacy, the incident from last year continues to haunt her, leaving her with a lingering sense of insecurity. Whenever she notices someone secretly taking photos, she becomes cautious, wondering “Is this person planning something?”
