MHADA Konkan Board Invites Bids For School, Hospital PlotsIn Shirdhon And Khoni Under PMAY-U; Apply By March 18

Mumbai: The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a division of MHADA, has initiated the sale of plots designated for schools and multispecialty hospitals in Shirdhon and Khoni, Kalyan Taluka, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).

Chief Officer Revati Gaikar has invited applications from eligible individuals, companies, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and trusts. Interested parties must submit their bids via mahatenders.gov.in by March 18, 2025.

At Shirdhon, the housing project includes 7,141 EWS units and 528 LIG units, with 1,905 units already receiving occupancy certificates. The project layout features two plots (765.64 sq. m and 596.87 sq. m) for hospitals and two plots (3,033.25 sq. m and 2,768.67 sq. m) for schools and playgrounds. It also includes essential amenities and benefits from its proximity to the proposed Virar-Alibaug Multimodal Corridor.

At Khoni, 5,060 EWS units have been completed, with 4,048 units ready for possession, alongside 2,114 LIG units under construction. The site includes a 2,464.60 sq. m plot for a school and playground, ensuring sufficient student enrollment.

With well-planned infrastructure, community facilities, and commercial provisions, MHADA expects strong interest in these plots.
