Green TV’s Ramadan special drama Ishq Di Chashni has quickly gained attention, featuring Sehar Khan and Khushhal Khan in lead roles.

Written by Sadia Siddiqa and directed by Shahid Shafaat, the show presents a refreshing narrative centered on a young woman establishing her own business, with a focus on ambition beyond love and marriage.

However, recent episodes have sparked controversy due to the portrayal of the character Rasgulla, played by an actor with dwarfism.

While the scenes were intended as lighthearted comedy, many viewers found them insensitive, criticizing the way the character was depicted as a childlike figure or used as comic relief.

Social media users have called for the removal of such content, urging the makers to be more considerate in their approach.

In response to the growing criticism, Green TV has reportedly decided to edit out any problematic scenes from upcoming episodes, acknowledging concerns over the portrayal of differently-abled individuals in mainstream media.
