Telangana student shot dead in US : A 27 -year -old student from Rangaiddy district was shot dead in Milwauki, US State of Wiconsin. The incident occurred during the suspected robbery attempt. Gampa Praveen, a resident of Keshampet Mandal, was doing MS in Data Science at the University of Wisconsin. According to reports, “He was working part-time in a local store and was about to complete his studies in two months.”
Praveen's death came on Wednesday morning like a shock for his family. His father Gampa Raghavulu said that he received a WhatsApp call at 2.55 am. After the call was missed, he sent a voice message to his son, asking him to call back. Raghavulu said, “We did not get any response. When we called his number, someone replied and said that he had received my son's phone. He asked his date of birth, which found unusual, so we disconnected the call and approached his friends. ”
India's Consulate General in Chicago expressed condolences on the death of Shri Gampa. “We are saddened by the untimely death of Praveen Kumar Gampa, a postgraduate student of Visconsin-Milvauki University.
