Patna : Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has made a big announcement about prohibition. RJD leader Tejashwi held a press conference on Thursday i.e. March 06. During this, he said that there has been a flood of criminals all over Bihar. The current government has completely failed to stop crime. The Leader of Opposition claimed that the government had not been able to implement liquor ban properly.
RJD leader Tejashwi said that if the Grand Alliance government is formed after the Bihar assembly elections, then he will make a big change in the law with ecstasy and separate the toddy from prohibition. During the press conference, the Tejashwi government looked completely aggressive on the current government of Bihar.
Questioning the liquor ban law, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi said that more than 2000 people have died so far due to poisonous liquor in Bihar. More than 12 lakh people have been arrested from 1 April 2016 to 31 August 2024 due to liquor ban. The prohibition department has arrested 5 lakh 43 thousand 326 people and Bihar Police has arrested about 6 lakh people.
Tejashwi Yadav has shocked that only Dalits and backward castes have been arrested under prohibition. In Bihar, due to liquor ban, 18 people are arrested every hour, 426 every day and 12,800 people every month. After the formation of our government, we will remove the toddy from prohibition for earning the Pasi society. Will arrange as before.
With this, the RJD leader alleged that the Chief Minister's Neera Yojana has completely failed. During the press conference, journalists also questioned Tejashwi about the CM face of the grand alliance. Responding to this, he said, 'Whatever be the face of CM in the grand alliance, I do not mind. I am busy with my work. The public will decide what will happen next.
