Common University Entrance Test CUET provides admission to central, state, and private universities. If you are in 12th then you have to register for this exam. This exam will be conducted between 8th May to 1st June. If you are also preparing for this exam, then you can get information about the syllabus, and pattern of the exam here.

This time NTA has made some changes for CUET UG 2025. Especially this time, apart from the subjects studied in 12th, an opportunity will be given to take the exam in other subjects as well. This exam will be in the form of a Computer Based Test i.e. CBT. This time this exam is likely to be held between 8th May to 1st June, the exam will be taken in 23 subjects. Last year this exam was held between 15th May to 24th May and was taken in 63 subjects.

CUET UG Exam Pattern 2025

CUET UG exam consists of a total of four sections. Section 1A consists of 13 languages, in which 50 questions are asked, out of which 40 questions have to be answered and 45 minutes are given for each language. Section 1B consists of 13 languages, in which 40 out of 50 questions have to be answered and the time duration is 45 minutes per language.

Section 11 consists of 27 domain-specific subjects, in which 45 to 50 questions are asked, out of which 35 to 40 questions have to be answered and 45 minutes are given for each subject. Section 11 consists of a general test, which consists of 60 questions, out of which 50 questions have to be answered and 60 minutes are given for this.

CUET UG 2025 Exam Syllabus

The CUET UG syllabus consists of the General Test and Subject-Specific Syllabus. The General Test consists of General Knowledge, Current Events, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Mathematical Concepts (up to Class 8), and Quantitative Reasoning.

The subject-specific syllabus includes Atomic Structure, Chemical Equilibrium, Acid-Base Concepts, Electrochemistry, Colloid and Colligative Properties, Organic Chemicals, Polymers and Carbohydrates from Chemistry. Physics includes topics such as Motion and Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Thermodynamics, Electric Current, Optics, and Modern Physics.

Mathematics consists of topics from Algebra, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, and Vectors. Biology includes Zoology, Origin of Life, Genetics and Biotechnology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, while Botany includes Plant Cells and Tissues, Photosynthesis, Ecology and Ecosystems, Soil and Environment.
