Writing history takes a great deal of effort and careful research, so it’s not simple at all. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized that it is a difficult task and difficult to get everyone to embrace it right away.

At GITAM, former minister Daggubati Venkateswara Rao’s book “The Glimpses of World History” (Prapancha Charitra) was launched. On Thursday, March 6, Visakhapatnam was designated as a university. The Union Finance Minister praised the previous minister for condensing several historical strands with whole commitment and engagement.

According to Nirmala Sitharaman, Venkateswara Rao was able to highlight the positive aspects of this difficult task without concealing any unpleasantness, providing readers with a wealth of role models. The Union Finance Minister said, “Bringing history in one’s own mother tongue is a very big effort,” emphasizing that the book provides a comprehensive perspective of world history rather than only a glimpse of it. Nirmala Sitharaman defined the “Daggubati” family as an achievers’ family and emphasized the need of taking inspiration from them. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu praised his co-brother for his ability to see a variety of elements, think analytically, and emphasize diverse viewpoints derived from in-depth observations, calling Dr. Venkateswara Rao a unique member of the family. It was a great surprise to me to find that Venkateswara Rao was writing about history, even though we had both learned a lot from former Andhra Pradesh NT Chief Minister Rama Rao. It seems that my own skepticism led me to inquire as to whether Venkateswara Rao was the true author of the World History Book. In a more lighthearted tone, the Chief Minister stated.

Naidu recalled Venkateswara Rao’s lengthy political career, saying that while he was a doctor by training, he never really practiced medicine. But after becoming a clergyman, he worked as a doctor before going into filmmaking. “Venkateswara Rao’s journey, as a five-time MLA, minister, and MP in both houses, is a perfect example of how life has its own twists and turns,” said Naidu, who praised Rao for always being composed.

The CM thanked the Finance Minister and said that it is scientifically proved that women work harder than males. He said the FM delivered the Union Budget eight times in a row and worked relentlessly to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda. Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu thanked Dr. Venkateswara Rao for publishing the book in Telugu for the benefit of future generations while speaking to the crowd. “Taking out a book on global history is not that simple. “Writing about NTR’s acting abilities is also not an easy task,” he said. He was certain that the book would resonate with readers since it compiled many facets of history in a comprehensive way. When asked what inspired him to write history, Dr. Venkateswara Rao said that several things made him pull out the book. I have a foundation in science academically. On the dais, Venkateswara Rao said, “But my political journey plus extensive travel experiences, the quest to know history from a larger perspective, and an insatiable urge to pass knowledge to the next generations made me want to write ‘The Glimpses of World History.'” He also expressed his pleasure at the book’s Telugu release.

BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari and Visakhapatnam were among those present for the book’s campus launch.
