star Dawn Neesom brutally slammed during the new documentary, Harry and Meghan's American Nightmare? The documentary, which explored the couple's relocation to the US as well as their multi-million deals with Spotify and Netflix, welcomed journalists, Royal experts and commentators to decipher "what went wrong".

During the episode, a clip from the Sussex's bombshell docuseries was shown in which Meghan claimed that she couldn't wear the same colour as the late Queen Elizabeth or any other senior Royal. The mum-of-two said that as a result, she chose colours that she thought royals would probably never wear, such as camel and beige to "blend in". However, Dawn quickly debunked the claims and said: "Rubbish if you actually look back at the photos she was wearing all the colours she wanted to wear."

In the 2022 release, the former Suits actress explained that during her time in the UK, she was trying to adapt to life as a member of the Royal family, which included learning how to curtsy while being under public scrutiny, that Meghan described as a "baptism of fire".

The Duchess also adapted her wardrobe accordingly in an effort not to step on any toes as she said: "Most of the time I was in the UK, I rarely wore colour.

"To my understanding, you can't ever wear the same colour as Her Majesty if there's a group event but then you also shouldn't be wearing the same colour as one of the other more senior members of the family."

Meghan continued: "I wore a lot of muted tones but it was also so I could just blend in. I'm not trying to stand out here. There was no version of me [that was] joining this family and trying not to do everything I could to fit in. I don't want to embarrass the family."

Dawn's brutal verdict comes after she made some other scathing comments about the couple on the Channel 5 documentary Harry and Meghan's American Nightmare?

Following the backlash that the Royal couple , the journalist said there has been "a seismic change" in the US's attitude towards the Sussex's.

Dawn stated: "So, it's not just Vanity Fair that has turned on them. It does feel like the whole of has turned on them, but there has been a seismic change in how people feel about Harry and Meghan in America."

While Katie Nicholl, Royal correspondent for Vanity Fair in the UK, disagreed with backlash and said: "I think the criticism was slightly unfair, and I am sure that that visit probably brought a lot of comfort to those people."
