On Saturday, it crossed the 500 crore mark, which has made this first film of 2025, which has achieved this feat. On the 23rd day of release, there was a tremendous jump in the film's earnings.
On the other hand, Soham Shah's film 'Crazaxi' has also increased in earnings. This film was doing business in millions till now, but its earnings were recorded on Saturday. However, it still has to struggle to get a lot of love from the audience.
The film, directed by Laxman Utekar, earned a great amount of Rs 16.5 crore on the 23rd day of its release. So far, 'Chhava', which has broken the records of many blockbuster films so far, has done a business of Rs 508.8 crore in India. It had earned Rs 219.25 crore in the first week, Rs 180.25 crore in the second week and Rs 84.05 crore in the third week. The film has made its place in the 500 crore club due to the rejoicing on the weekend.
Soham Shah's film 'Crazaxi' also got some relief at the box office on Saturday. The film grossed Rs 1.25 crore on the ninth day of its release. However, despite getting praise from critics, it is struggling in bringing the audience to theaters. Till now it has collected a total of Rs 8.70 crore, while its budget is being told as 20 crores. In such a situation, it seems difficult for the film to remove your cost. However, its alternative climax has definitely caught the attention of the audience.
While 'Chhawa' is constantly making new records, 'Crazxy' has to struggle to withdraw its cost. In the next few days, it will be very interesting to see if the 'Chhava' will be able to join the 600 crore club and whether 'Crazxi' will be able to fulfill its cost or not.
