The form for session 2025-26 for admission of children in Kendriya Vidyalaya has come online. Filling out the KVS admission form has started from Friday, March 7. • The application process starts every year around February-March.
• You have to apply by visiting the official website ( https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in/ ).
• For this, first of all you have to go to New Registration and register and get a login ID.
• After this, you can fill the online form for admission, which requires child's information, parent's details, address and other information.
• Finally, the form has to be submitted by uploading the required documents.
• After filling the application form, you must take a printout of it. It may be useful in future.

Admission in KV is also done through lottery system

For information, let us tell you that admission in class 1 is also done through lottery system, that is, if more applications are received then seats are allotted through draw. KVSangathan has also shared some other important terms and conditions with those interested in admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya. According to this, if you give wrong information or fake certificate, the admission will be canceled immediately and no appeal will be accepted. Registration for KV class 1 will be done online. If more than one form is filled for the same child in the same school, then only the last application will be valid.

Which students get admission?

• Kendriya Vidyalayas are primarily meant for children of government employees (especially defence personnel, central government and PSU employees), but some seats are also available for the general public.
• Preference to children of Central Government employees (transferable).
• Second priority to children of state government employees.
• Third preference will be given to children of employees of PSUs and autonomous institutions.
• Last priority to children of private sector employees or common citizens.
